Would you ever believe this little guy was in the hospital this morning, given a mild anesthesia and had tubes put in his ears???? Well, he did and now he's up and at em' and just as happy as ever! Now that the surgery has gone off without a hitch (well, you can hardly call it a surgery...more of a procedure), I don't know why we waited so long. There have been 3.5 very long months of lots of pain for Gainesy and lots of nights filled with no sleep all due to 8 ear infections with no break in between. Even as of last night, we were waking up every 2 hours. Seriously...this is worse than a newborn...and we've been doing this for 9 months! YIKES!!! Anyway, my hope is that our nights will be filled with peaceful sleep and little Gaines will feel 100%. Keep your fingers crossed!
