Back in April, when you went around town, you would notice pianos placed randomly on the streets of Austin. This was a public art display which was part of the “Play Me, I’m Yours” exhibition by artist
Luke Jerram which was sponsored by the
Art Alliance Austin. It's an international tour which started 2008 (ends September 2011 in Tilburg Netherlands) where 400 pianos were installed in cities across the globe, from New York to Sydney. There was nothing better than taking a jog across the pedestrian bridge at the lake at 6:30 a.m. and coming across someone playing the piano. I loved it and wish it was back. There is a new art exhibit out there now for us Austinites which I'll post shortly but in the meantime, here are some pics from around town of the fabulous "Play Me, I'm Yours" exhibit:

Gotta love Austin! REALLY....you gotta!
